I think it’s finally safe to say it…it’s Spring! Now that the sun comes out for more than a day at a time it’s time to think about reclaiming that outdoor space we used to call our backyard…that right now we call a mess.
I’ll be honest with you. I say that my family is big into gardening and outdoor living…but really, my husband is the one who does it all. I have grand intentions, but I also have a teeny problem with follow-through.
In the spirit of those grand intentions, however, I’ve scoured the internet for some of my fave garden décor ideas – ones that are so cute and simple that even I could pull them off.
Before you launch into some serious gardening, make sure you’re organized. This super simple, super brilliant, and super cute tool storage rack made from an old rake is from Crafts a la Mode.
Next, you’re going to have to label all those veggies so you know what’s coming out of the ground. Here’s a durable, adorable solution that requires nothing more than a brick and a sharpie!
If you want to get a little fancier, try these labels to add some bling to your veggie beds. I actually made these over the long weekend using last year’s used canning lids (pictured above) and they were easy, cheap, beautiful, and made use of something that would have otherwise gone in the trash. {See? Sometimes I can finish projects.}
Ummm…hello cute, easy, colorful, and creative! Those rubber boots that are too small or worn out have a beautiful new purpose in your garden!
And finally, here’s how my husband decorated an ugly old tree stump with a quick & easy 20-minute project, turning an eyesore into my favorite corner of our backyard!
What super simple and creative ways have you found to beautify your yard and garden space?
