Recently, I was introduced to the company: Confetti Grace. The founder, Lindsey, based her company on the saying: “Throw kindness around like confetti”. She wanted to bring that saying to life and make it easy for people to spread kindness to others.
Here’s how they do it: They design a different craft for each month, gather all the supplies (enough to make two craft projects), package everything in a box and mail it to your house. They also include gift bags and the supplies you need to make two beautiful cards, so it’s super easy to share your handiwork with someone you love (or, someone who needs a little kindness).
The Confetti Grace boxes are packed with so much love that you’ll feel cherished too. The one we received looked like a gift from an expensive boutique. Each supply was nestled in crinkled paper which made it feel truly special to unpack. Also, Confetti Grace gives 20% of their profits to charities around the world. So, the giving truly is sprinkled like confetti!
I love crafts, but by the time I find one I want to make, drive to a craft store, hunt down the supplies, spend way too much money, and drive home, I’m too tired to actually do the craft! I can’t tell you how many bags of unused supplies I have in my house. Confetti Grace takes all that hassle away and does the hard work for you so you can get right to the fun part.
I took my first box to my granddaughter’s house. Nora unpacked the box and carefully laid out all the supplies.
We found out that we were making cute bunny wall-hangings and we started right away.
Opening our Confetti Grace box gave us the excuse to spend the afternoon together. Plus, we learned new skills and ended up with two cute Bunnies AND two Easter cards.
As we were crafting I started thinking about what a great gift these craft boxes would be for the people in my life. How about the young moms out there with young kids who have trouble getting out to shop? Or, homeschoolers, shut-ins or elderly people? Or, how about troop leaders, sleepover hosts, or for birthday party activities?
I love that Confetti Grace teaches us about empathy and giving. The gift bags, greeting card supplies and hanging gift tags make it easy to share your handiwork with others. You can keep one craft and give one away or you can give them both away. Plus, you can mail the cards separately to spread the giving even further.
All in all, Nora and I had a sweet time together crafting, visiting and deciding who we would share our artistic endeavors with.
