Each year one of my favorite parts of the Christmas season, is all the festivities that happen! I get SO excited for this time of year because I know I’ll get to spend it with family and friends and partake in some big things happening around Seattle. I was really excited to try out the new Lumaze and share my experience with you.
By far the BEST experience was going to Lumaze.
First of all, it’s the ONLY indoor light festival in Seattle—I mean, come on—dreary, dark, wet, rainy Seattle; who wouldn’t love it for that fact alone? Aside from that, I walked through the doors and was immediately brought back to my childhood, you know, that feeling you get when you walk down the stairs and the lights of the tree glow through the house and you see just the crumbs from cookies after Santa made his stop at your house. This year’s theme for Lumaze was Fairytale Christmas and it was full of beautiful lit icicles, a huge golden lit castle, and even had live princesses strolling throughout the entire light show. Nostalgia really hit when I came to the HUGE life size LiteBrite which was amidst a sea of unicorns that kids could ride on.
My husband and I took selfies with props and we even saw Santa making the rounds which made the perfect photo op with him!
Kids had fun drinks served to them in light up glow lights and there was SO many food vendors—the delicious smell filled up the entire place! There were millions of lights and it was magical, it was warm, it was festive, and no matter what age you are—Lumaze has something for you to enjoy!
I highly recommend adding Lumaze to your Christmas season this year! You won’t regret it. Get your tickets today!
