Most Loving and Gracious Father,
Today I bring before you our family mission. I believe that you have called us to something bigger than ourselves. Show us how to live on mission. Teach us how to minister to others.
I pray these 5 specific request over our neighborhood _______________________________.
I ask for 3 specific ways to minister to our children’s friends. Teach us how to pray as a family. Show us how to be a light to all those that surround us ______________________ (Here pray for 3-5 people that you regularly interact with. This could be anyone from your kids’ coach to a teacher or the barista at your local coffee house.) God, I pray that you would give our family a specific mission that we can partner with you in. I trust that you will show us what this is and in the process of following that call, draw us all into a deeper relationship with you.
God, would you also show me one way that we can minister as a family this week? Please make known to us a need that we can fill or a person that we can encourage as a family.
Father I also pray for the individual giftings of my entire family. Allow us to understand who we are in you and to walk in your ways. Create a powerful unity of spirit as a family that is committed to blessing others. God, radically change our lives. Let us be a family who is more about mission to others than serving ourselves. In all of this, may you be glorified my God!
