Here are the fun fall activities you get to experience at Picha Farms:
- Corn Maze – Picha Farms is Releasing the Kraken in our 5-acre corn maze. With widened paths to allow for social distancing, you’ll stroll through the maze, single file, in search of answers to 8 Kraken trivia questions. A free mini pumpkin awaits you at the exit as a reward for all your hard work.
- Hayride – Relax and enjoy the fresh air as you meander through wide-open fields of pumpkins.
- Slingshot – Hit your target and win $5 off your pumpkin purchase.
(Note: Hand sanitizing required before you take a shot.) - Food – Sip on a latte or hot apple cider; much on kettle corn or scrumptious homemade caramel apples; enjoy fresh-made sandwiches, hamburgers or gourmet hot dogs from our awesome vendors. (You must be wearing mask to receive service and social distancing while waiting in line is required.)
- Fall Decor – With over 25 varieties of pumpkins to choose from, grab a sanitized wheelbarrow and stroll through the wide-open spaces. You have over 9-acres to search and find your perfect pumpkin. And don’t forget to stalk up on gourds and cornstalks.

Fall Festival: We are excited to announce that this year, we have designed an adventure trail throughout the entire property, highlighting many aspects of the beautiful Fall season and offering numerous animal viewing areas (kittens, piglets, baby bunnies, mini ponies, chickens, etc). Please arrive at the beginning of your designated time and note the time that the farm closes on that particular day, as we cannot stay open longer. The trail will take about 35-45 minutes to explore while it twists and turns throughout the property and ends in the pumpkin patch and greenhouse area where your family can purchase any of our organic, farm fresh vegetables and fruit, plus any pumpkins you choose! Families will be spaced apart and the walking path will continue along in one direction with wide areas to ensure social distancing. For those of you who wish to stay longer, you may do so in the pumpkin patch or to enjoy a selection of Fall favorite treats from our Coffee Shop and Bakery. We offer pumpkin pie, kettle corn, hot buttered sweet-corn, apple cider, and fresh grilled bbq items, plus we have debuted a new expansive lawn area surrounding the Gazebo where tables are spread 15 feet apart and families may even bring their own picnic lunches to enjoy!

Admission onto our property includes: 1 entry into our corn maze, 1 game of laser tag* (weekends only), unlimited tractor train rides, unlimited hay wagon rides, play area, animal viewing, tricycle track, apple sling shot (weekend only), wandering through our fairy tale trail & entrance to the Parlor our home decor and sweet shop. *weather permitting. If you are ONLY interested in visiting our u-pick pumpkin patch it is FREE admission! Our patch is also dog friendly (leash required), however that’s the only place dogs are allowed.

There are bales of farm fun to be had at Schilter Family Farm! Yes, things will be a little different this year, but there is still a lot of great experiences to enjoy while at the farm. We will be limiting our capacity in order to be able to maintain proper social distancing. All admissions will be sold online so that we can hold to our limited capacity. Once we sell out of tickets for a specific day, we will no longer allow entrance onto the farm for that date. Activities include; 2020 maze, duck races, wagon ride, hay maze, pedal tractors and new trikes this year, Ft. Nisqually, goat walk, kids play area, slides, hay pyramid, farm animals (view only), pumpkin blasters, cow train rides.

During the month of October our farm features a 5 acre corn maze and the largest selection of pumpkins in the valley. Come try your hand at one of three pumpkin slingshots. We even have one just for kids. We offer FREE tractor pulled hay rides on the weekends (weather permitting). In our 80 year old barn you will find decorative gourds, cornstalks, mini pumpkins, and edible squash. We also have live animals for the kids to see. Over the years we have served our community by providing exceptional produce and customer service. Concessions go on sale the first weekend in October. So come see us at Double R Farms.
