Story Times
Story Times are in-person and online programs that support early literacy through stories, songs, rhymes and more. These programs are offered in several different categories, languages and formats. There’s sure to be a Story Time for your family, such as Baby Story Time for parents with newborns, Family Story Time for families with young children of different ages, or Pajama Story Time for parents looking for fun ways to help their children wind down in the evening.
Tell Me a Story
Unable to make it to an in-person Story Time? Promote early literacy on your own time with the KCLS Story Time companion, Tell Me a Story. This great resource lets parents and caregivers explore archived videos of rhymes and songs created by library staff.
