“The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever.”
Isaiah 40:8
The Fall season fell right into place out here in Vancouver (pun intended!) with beautiful fall colors as far as the eyes can see, the rainy mornings and early sun sets. I find myself cuddled up in a blanket on most days sipping on some ginger and lemongrass chai or a hearty chicken soup and on some days; both!
As the children and I took a walk, the rainy weather did not deter them from picking some fallen leaves. Noticing the beautiful shades of orange, yellow, brown and green, we decided to make a craft out of our finding.
I hope you’ll try it out with your children too! Enjoy!
Supplies:
- Sheets of paper
- Stick of glue
- Printer
- Leaves
Directions:
Take a photo of your child blowing into the air and print it out on regular paper.
Carefully cut out the outline of the picture and glue it onto one side of a sheet of paper.
Then glue the leaves you gathered onto the same paper to make it look like your child is blowing the leaves.
“Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.” Ezekiel 47:12
