Handmade cards are not just beautiful and unique, the time and effort used to make them makes them an extra sweet and special gesture.
Crafting is a creative way to spend more time as a family. It’s a win-win situation! You get to bond over creating something meaningful, valuable and usable. Then you put a smile on someone else’s face as you give them a card you thoughtfully created for them.
What you need:
- Plain white paper
- Red card stock or plain paper
- Glue stick
- Markers or Colors (black and red)
- Pencil
- Scissors

Directions:
Cut the white piece of paper to measure 13cm by 11cm.
Fold it in half length wise

Measure and draw two lines diving the folded paper into the following sections: 4cm, 5cm and 4cm mark.

Draw two diagonal lines at each top side that will be the arms.

Cut out as below

Fold the hands in and open the paper out

Draw a person, complete with hands and write out your message

Cut the red paper to measure out 6cm by 12cm, then fold in half

Fold the white paper and glue it inside of the red paper

Cut out a small heart and glue it to the top and centre of the red paper
