Description: Collins campground is described as a quiet camping experience located on the Duckabush River. Activities at this site include hiking, fishing, strolling along the river and viewing local waterfalls. The campground offers amenities such as tables, fire pits, specific tenting and parking areas and toilets. Bring your family to the Collins campground for a quiet yet fun camping experience!

Description: Crow Butte is known primarily for its fun water activities as well as the camping it provides. With three boat launches and temporary moorage available, this campsite is the perfect experience for boating families. In addition to the seemingly endless water activities, Crow Butte also features an extensive camping experience.
This one books quickly so if you don’t already have a reservation it may be best if you’re planning a weekday camping adventure.
Description: This is one of my family’s favorite camping spots! It is not too far away from the city and offers many fun adventures. Flowing Lake is a large public park featuring camp sites, amphitheater, cabins, picnic areas, playground, bath houses and a beach access to the lake. This campsite is a perfect place to take the family. The amenities are tailored to camping, lodging and parking motorhomes and trailers for a fun time.

Description: Lake Wenatchee is a short drive from Seattle and is a perfect place to take the family during the warm months of the year. The lake is deep and cold making the sunny days filled with water adventures! The surrounding areas contain five miles of horse trails, seven miles of biking trails, eight miles of hiking trails, boating and freshwater fishing opportunities! There are surely many activities available at Lake Wenatchee.

Description: This beautiful camping spot is located at the foot of the Cascade Mountains and is surrounded by towering pine trees, grassy fields and endless wildflowers! The Wenatchee River reaches through part of the site and provides a sandy beach within the camping areas. Activities include floating in the river, golfing, horseback riding and nature walk opportunities!
Weekend summer dates available, and there’s even a cabin still open for Memorial Day weekend.
Description: This beautiful destination has been part of the defense line on the west coast since World War I and was finally deactivated in 1954. The park has been restored and is now a wonderful place for your family to explore! With many tunnels, base camp surroundings and war time relics, this is the perfect getaway for young explorers. The Upper campground overlooks Kilisut Harbor and is surrounded by a wooded cover. Plenty of sites with a central bathroom featuring flushing toilets and campers sink gives the ideal camping experience.

Description: Forlorn Lakes camping areas are located near a group of small lakes near Tout Lake. The small, shallow lakes are surrounded by serene forest areas and provide campers with a beautiful setting to relax in. Toilets are within reach and families have access to many walking and hiking trails near this area. What a fun way to spend a long weekend!
As a first-come, first-served campground this is a great option for a spontaneous camping adventure.
Description: Located at the 25 mile mark of Lake Chelan, Twenty-Five Mile Creek is a beautiful place to take the family for a fun camping adventure. Boating, tent camping and RV camping are all welcome at this awesome spot and boat moorage is available! Activities are seemingly endless and include boating, fishing, jet skiing, water skiing, bird watching, mountain biking and so much more. Bring your family to Twenty-Five Mile Creek to explore what the site has to offer!

Cape Disappointment State Park
Description: Cape Disappointment is a beautiful place to visit and is located on the long beach peninsula. This site has an expansive history that relates back to the fascinating discovery of Washington State. Sites are located near the beach on the Pacific Ocean and face the opening of the Columbia River. The park features yurts, cabins and vacation homes in addition to the camping sites. This area is an amazing place to both relax and explore the beautiful surroundings and discover the immense history of Washington State.
This facility is pretty popular – but for good reason. Still, if you look hard enough you can still find some weekend reservations available.
Moran State Park, Orcas Island
Description: Moran State Park is one of the largest parks in the state of Washington and features lakeside sites, hiking, biking and horse trails as well as water activities! Located on Orcas Island, this beautiful camping destination is sure to be a hit with any adventurous family.

Description: Situated in the north-central area of the state, about 25 minutes west of Omak, Conconully State Park features 5,400 feet of coastline for fishing and other water activities. Also, there are boat launches on two lakes and 48 feet of dock, so there is ample opportunity to take advantage of the fishing. With camping options of cabins, tent sites, and sites with full hookups, there are many options for how you can stay here. Also nearby are many other lakes, which means this location is a fishing family’s dream!

Description: Located on Whidbey Island, Fort Casey is a park filled with activities and fun for the whole family. With the biggest excitement of the park being the old fort facilities, you can tour this incredible location on your own, or during the summer you can join a guided tour as well. This park also features 10,810 feet of saltwater coastline and 1.8 miles of hiking trails. Between boating, beach combing, and exploring the old fort, the opportunities for family adventure are endless!
