Ever have a rough day and just need a good ol’ dose of Scripture?
Yeah, me too.
I put these together for those hard days. Those mom days that you’re not sure you can get through (I’m having one of those today), the ones where you just need to be encouraged, and maybe the ones where you need to be held accountable and need to be spurred on a bit.
Here’s to those days! May His Word be what we need to carry on.
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
-Galatians 6:9
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
-Psalm 46:1-3
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
-Isaiah 26:3
My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.
-Psalm 63:8
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits; and in His word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.
-Psalm 130:5-6
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
-Deuteronomy 6:6-7
You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?
-Psalm 56:8
Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
-Matthew 6:34
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.
-2 Corinthians 4:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield: in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him.
-Psalm 28:7
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
-Psalm 91:1
The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
-Exodus 15:2
I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.
-Psalm 34:4
For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the water, so shall my Word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
-Isaiah 55:10-11
He will tend His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs in His arms; He will carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.
-Isaiah 40:11
Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth I call to You, when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, for You have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.
-Psalm 61:1-3
