I discovered LiveMom from attending her spring Rock + Read event at the Domain. I was looking for family oriented SXSW activities and stumbled up this amazing annual event. From there on, I found that she is often covering things to do with the entire family all over the city. A lot of these activities are unique and full of Austin flavor. Her blog is definitely one to check on a consistent basis so you don’t miss a beat.
The name alone should grab your attention. When it comes to looking for things for my family to do, free is always best. Many local businesses know about this fantastic little blog and submit their upcoming events to be listed in the calendar. I catch myself glancing over it most weekends to find out what is happening around our neck of the woods. When it’s free, you’ve basically got nothing to lose!
Do512 Family is much like Free Fun in Austin except not all of the events listed are free.
