An outing to the movie theater has the potential to be prohibitively expensive for many. At $10+ a ticket plus the price of popcorn, it’s easy to spend over $100 to simply watch a movie.
Here’s a way to cut that cost, though. During the month of October, AMC Theaters is offering $5 tickets to all Tuesday showings. The only “catch” is that you need to join their free “AMC Stubs” club to access the deal. And when you do, you can ALSO get a coupon for popcorn and a soda for only $5.
This is basically cutting your ticket + popcorn price in more than HALF.

And then check out the list of movies playing at AMC and pick which one you want to take your family to. Some kid-friendly titles out this month are The Lego Ninjago Movie and My Little Pony – surprise your little ones with an after-school trip to the movies! Other big releases that you might want to see for a mid-week date night with your spouse or girls night with your friends are Stronger, Home Again, American Made, and The Mountain Between Us.
