“In your anger do not sin:” Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians 4:26-27
This can be a tough one but here’s the thing, if the Lord is saying this through His Word, then He will give us what we need to get through it, but it takes us battling through our pride. If our starting line toward resolution is to glorify God first, it will make it easier to step forward into healing. The pain is real but when you come together with truly the best for the relationship, you will get through the challenge, honoring Him through obedience to His Word.
Be brave. Be faithful. Be true. Don’t waste time not avoiding the truth but tackle it so you can get to the other side, BUT, be as gentle, loving, and kind with your words, and ready to listen. He’s got you!
