And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:5

While you and I will indeed still make those choices as active participants in our lives, our decisions don’t dictate our futures. We can rest because our choices don’t actually have the final say in any sphere—God has the final say. Remember, all things are through him and for him (Col. 1:16) All things.”*
