Over the years here at All Mom Does, we have compiled some pretty awesome lists of gift ideas. I prefer to start preparing early for the holidays and thought I would take some work off your plate and share some additional ideas for gifts. Here are ten ideas for teacher gifts!
Teacher Supplies– This idea surprised me but my teacher friends say they love receiving the gift of supplies they can use. Pens, sticky notes, cute pencil holders. Multiple sources said they LOVE these pens! Or what about personalized pencils!
Class Color Accessories: If your school has class colors, think about getting your teacher socks, earrings, headbands etc in their class color. They probably get sick of wearing the same yellow scarf each class color day so this gift will be appreciated!
Candy Filled Cup/Basket/Jar: I love coffee cups, baskets and jars. Your teacher probably does too! You can purchase any of those and fill them with candy or maybe even some of those teacher supplies (paper clips, etc) for a cute and usable gift!
Teacher Essentials Kit: This is what I will be doing this year. Buy a jewelry divider like this one, fill it with things like paper clips, candy, nail file, gum etc. I might find one that has larger compartments so I can fit things like travel sized lotion in it too.
Thank you photo: How cute is this idea from Pinterest? You could even do this with one kid just taking several different pictures.
Gift Card: I have included this on past lists but it’s a fan favorite.
Handwritten note: Another fan favorite is the lost art of a handwritten note. Two of my teacher friends save all of them!
Personalized Tote/Bag/Basket: Teachers often carry around a lot to and from their classroom. These baskets are so cute that I am putting it onto my wish list this year. Teachers are often moms and could use this when they are designated snack parent during sports seasons.
Office Chair: This would be a splurge and something to do as a group gift but how cool would it be to treat your teacher to a new chair in a fun color like this one?
Surprise meal: One of my friends had a surprise lunch delivered to them courtesy of their student’s parents. Maybe give them some sort of warning so they don’t go to the trouble of packing a lunch. Or pack them up all the ingredients for a nice dinner sort of like those meal delivery services!
What would you add to this list? We are always up for more ways to show our teachers and school staff just how much we appreciate them!
