One of my favorite parts of Christmas is putting up the tree and enjoying it throughout the season. I love sitting there at night, dimming our living room lights and enjoying the glow of the tree.
I am also a little picky when it comes to the tree décor and, for this reason, I have a second tree downstairs for the kids where they can put whatever ornaments they want. Each year, we all decorate the kids’ tree together while watching a Christmas movie. But the upstairs tree – that one I get to call the shots on what goes on it.
Ribbon is an important part of the décor. This year, I decided to go vertical instead of the typical horizontal wrap-around I usually do. I loved the results so naturally I want to share.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Ribbon- preferably wired on the sides which is really easy to find.
- Ornament hooks- I got a pack of 100 at the dollar store.
- Scissors
