Dear Father,
Today God, I bring to you my husband. I know that the most powerful thing I can do for my husband is to pray for him. I pray that I would have the patience and courage to understand him and partner with him in the raising our children as well as the management and ministry of our household. Right now I bring to you five specific requests for him. _____________________________________ (List five prayers for your husband or future husband. It could be a new job, godly friendships, a deeper prayer life or that he might receive Jesus as Lord. It is okay to be bold!)
God, I pray that he would be a godly man who has a thirst for prayer and the reading of your Word. I ask that he would be a man of deep patience and understanding. I lift up his spirit and flesh to you. Protect him from the wiles of the Devil and keep him from covetousness and free of sin. Safeguard his heart against inappropriate relationships and may he walk in the counsel of the Lord all the days of his life. Finally, give him a deep and supernatural understanding of me. Allow me to encourage and bless him all the days of his life. I pray that I am a wife of noble character that brings him good and not harm all the days of his life (Prov 31).
