Dear Father,
I surrender any concerns I have over finances to your love and protection and provision today. God I believe that you are the great provider and that all good things come from you (James 1:17). Would you remove any fear or concern I have over finance. I believe in your provision and love for me and my family. I know that you not only own the cattle on a thousand hills, but also care for me and my family more than the birds of the air who you provide for each day (Matt 6:26-31).
Today Father I ask for 5 specific financial requests for my family. _________________________ (Here you would pray for a new job for you or your husband, unexpected income to come in, a sudden decrease of your bills, the ability to pay off your debt.) Where I/we have not been faithful with our spending or giving, I repent God and ask that you provide me/us the faith to be generous. Show me this week where I/we can bless another family. Let my family be known for its generosity and kindness. Jesus release the floodgates of your provision in our lives. Also, God would you provide the finance for my family to __________________________________ (Add a fun request here. It could be money to go to a theme park, summer vacation or buy the house you always wanted. Remember that our job as believers is prayer creation. Let God decide how and what he will answer!)
