Being outside in the fresh air and God’s beautiful creation is not only good for the soul, it is vital for our children’s healthy development.
Playing at the park or outside in the backyard is fun, but there’s nothing quite like going on a family road trip to enjoy sceneries that are new to us.
How else will we discover our next favorite beach, lake or national park!? I welcome the opportunity to spend undistracted time with family and make precious memories that will last a lifetime.
To quote Richard Louv “Unlike television, nature does not steal time; it amplifies it”.

That’s why the invitation our family received to tour the APEX Nano Off Grid RV by Coachmen at Get-Away RV Centre couldn’t have been timelier.
Designed for towing with today’s half-ton trucks, minivans and SUVs, the Coachmen Apex Nano travel trailers should be at the top of your list because they are lightweight, easy to tow, and comfortable!
If you’re like me and want to enjoy all the benefits of nature without compromising on homely comforts then RVing is absolutely for you.
RVing allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds. The great outdoors with beautiful landscapes, fishing, swimming in the lake or ocean and toasting smores on a camp fire but with all the amenities that your home would have to offer like a hot shower, in door toilet, warm comfortable bed and a kitchen complete with a sink, microwave, refrigerator, stove and dining area too.
As we toured the Apex Nano Off Grid, I marveled at how many necessary household furnishings were able to fit into such a compact RV while still leaving it spacious and uncluttered.
It was a case of functionality meets aesthetic design as most of the fixtures in the RV served multiple purposes. The four-seater dinette had storage cabinets under its seats and could also be converted into an extra bed, the sink covered shut to increase on kitchen workspace and the couch pulled out into a queen-sized bed. There was storage space everywhere, even under the children’s bunk beds. It reminded me of a small apartment. It was so homely I almost forgot I was in an RV!
There were also amenities I did not expect but was pleasantly surprised to find like wifi, several outlets, USB chargers, central heating and air conditioning.
While the dining nook had the nostalgic effect of a cozy family diner, my favorite part of the RV was the outside kitchen. It was fitted with a mini fridge and a small grill giving you the option to cook outside as well. I thought this was such a great idea and thoughtful touch, because who wants the whole RV smelling like BBQ sausage for the entire trip.
Being the kind of Mom who likes to be over prepared rather than under prepared, I was absolutely wowed by the RV our family had the amazing opportunity to tour at Get-Away RV Centre. An Apex Nano Off Grid by Coachmen. We’re ready to buy one. How about you?
