Need a quick and easy summer treat?
This one is cool and refreshing AND so easy that the kids can help make it.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Bananas
- Peanut Butter
- Peanuts
- Chocolate chips
- Optional – coconut oil
Instructions:
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
Cut your bananas into fourths (cut in half horizontally and then vertically).
Spread peanut butter onto the cut side of the banana pieces.
Sprinkle the peanut butter with peanuts.
Melt chocolate chips and a teaspoon of coconut oil in the microwave. For the amount I was making, I used ½ cup of chips and microwaved them for 45 seconds, stirring halfway through. Do not over-cook!
Drizzle the tops of your bananas with the melted chocolate.
Place them in the freezer for 30-60 minutes.
Voila! A quick and easy treat your family will love!
You can easily store these in plastic snack bags in the freezer.
