The act of gift giving should be something that fills your heart knowing it’s filling the heart of someone else. Unless it’s the season of Christmas and you are a mom. In that case, the act of gift giving often turns into a giant stress ball. If your kid wants a big item like a Nintendo Switch or Beats Wireless Headphones, they are likely to tell you. But when it comes to the less obvious things or when Grandma and Grandpa ask what the kids want, that is when stress can set in. Here at All Mom Does, we are hoping to make things a bit easier on you this year.
Here are ten ideas for Christmas presents for kids of various ages. All under $25!
Oonies Inflator Kit: $17.99 Recommended age says 5-15. I say more like 5-10. These balloon type toys inflate using this kit and stick together. You can decorate with things like googly eyes. Pretty cute.
Crayola Magic Light Brush and Drawing Pad: ($12.99). Ages 3+. Mess free activity for your toddler!
Hashtag It Game: ($14.95) Teenager+. Match a picture with a funny hashtag.
Fingerlings: (about $15) Ages 5-15. These tiny toys respond to sound, motion and touch.
LOL Surprise Glam Glitter Series: ($10) I sort of roll my eyes putting this item on the list because my five year old has become obsessed with these and I don’t quite know why. But at a $10 price point, I think I might go for it.
Don’t Step In It: ($14) Family game for all ages. The objective is to not step in the piles of (fake) poop. It sounds ridiculous but I know my 8 and 5 year old would absolutely love it.
Slang Keychain: ($10) Ages Preteen/Teen. I had no idea “Okurrr” was the new way to say Ok.
Graphic T-shirts: ($12-$24) While my eight year old boy doesn’t appreciate clothes as gifts, your pre-teen/teenager just might!
LED Light Up Beanie/Gloves: (around $14) All ages.
Pomsie: ($14.82) 4+. A wearable pom pom that can communicate (via sounds) emotions like sad, happy. Seems similar to a Hatchimal but at a much lower price!
What gift ideas do you have that won’t bust the budget?
