Stumped about what to get your middle schooler or high schooler for Christmas? Here are some fresh new ideas!

Giant Bean Bag: This isn’t the teeny, flat bean bag you got for your toddler. Help your kid make their room cozy with a reading or gaming spot with this “Chill Sack.” It’s not filled with the traditional styrofoam beads, and you can make it even more fluffy by picking up an extra package of memory foam filling!
Light Ring: If your kiddo is super into video-making, this is an affordable tool that will make a big difference!
Trick Kite: Kites are great at every age, and this is a way to level-up their fun! Trick kites come at all price points, but this affordable option is a great starter. Plus there’s no frame so it can’t break, and it folds up into a small and easily portable pouch.
Inflatable Stand-Up Paddle Board: They might not be able to use it until next summer, but set them up for some summer fun! If you don’t think a paddle board is their thing, consider an inflatable kayak or other item they might love. And don’t forget the life jacket!
Portable Phone Charger: They’ll love it because they’ll always stay connected, and you’ll love it because they can never give you the excuse that you couldn’t reach them because their phone died. Just make sure you choose one that’s compatible with their phone!
Electronic Dart Board: Get them off the screens and play a game in real life! This will be a fun and interactive addition to your family room, game room, or their bedroom.
Wireless Earbuds: Don’t want to spring for AirPods for your teen? We don’t blame you. Get them good-quality wireless earbuds for significantly less so they can prove they won’t lose them before they get the real thing.
Electric Scooter: This will require a bit of research on your part because there are lots of options at varying price points, battery life, and distance capabilities. But it could cut down on your chauffer responsibilities! Don’t forget to add a helmet to your purchase, too.
Roller Suitcase: Does your kid go to camp, on class trips, or are they college-bound in the not-too-distant future? Get them an easy-to-maneuver roller suitcase in a fun color so it stands out from the crowd. I also love adding a fun-colored or custom-ordered luggage tag.
Room Decor: Choose LED strip lights, lighted marquee letters, or a cinema lightbox to help them customize their room. These are all super affordable options!
