You crown the year with a bountiful harvest, even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. Psalm 65:11
He will crown your year with a bountiful harvest. Maybe you have not yet seen the move of God concerning your situation, believe and have faith in God. Did He say He will do it? You better believe God will fulfill EVERY promise to you!
The Bible says God watches over His Word to perform it.
“You have observed correctly,” said the LORD, “for I am watching over My word to accomplish it.” Jeremiah 1:12
God takes His promises to you very, very seriously. You can rest assured in the nature of God. He is not a human being like you and me that He should lie because God is pure and Holy.
“God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through?” Numbers 23:19
What a wonderful God we serve! One that is faithful and true to His promises. We can put all our trust and hope in our God because there is no speck of evil in our God. Has He not said it and will He not do it? His Word will not return to Him void but will accomplish everything that He sent it to do.
So, this is to remind you and reassure you that God is still working. Even when you do not see it or feel it, God is still working. And His promises to you will surely come to pass. These promises are good and not evil. They are to bless you and give you a future you hope for. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
So, believe in the trustworthy God who made those promises to you. Just like Mary believed and the Bible said of her: “You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what He said.” Luke 1:45
If you are thinking God has not made any wonderful promises to you, think again. The Bible is filled with God’s promises to His people. Here are just a few of the many promises laid out in God’s work that you can claim and receive as yours. I encourage you to search God’s Word for even more so you can find comfort and hope in what God has to say about your situation:
- God is causing all things and all situations to work out for your good. Even the trials will end up working for your good in God’s divine wisdom. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28
- God promises to instruct and teach you the way you should go. If you ever feel stuck, not knowing what to do or how to do it, remember this very specific promise of God. “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” Psalm 32:8
- God promises to give you rest from anything burdens us. All you have to do is come to Jesus and He takes care of the rest. Then Jesus said, “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
- God promises to watch over you, guard you and protect you from harm. “The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life.” Psalm 121:7
- God promises to supply all your needs. He is a loving Father who will not withhold any good thing from his children. The whole earth is the Lord’s and the fullness there of, so he is not lacking in supply. Our God is not only abounding in riches, but He is also generous. “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
