Want to make beef-based baby food but not sure if it’s appropriate for your little one? What’s safe and what’s not?
The GREAT news is that the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans both agree that nutrient-dense solid foods, like beef, are important for infants and toddlers because they provide nutrients like iron, zinc, and choline which are essential for healthy body and brain development. Further, there’s no evidence that foods need to be introduced in a particular order. That means beef and other meats are appropriate even as your baby’s very first food – as long as they’re prepared appropriately for baby.
Watch the video below to learn how to safely and appropriately feed beef to your baby!
