Trolls World Tour, the much-anticipated sequel to 2016’s Trolls movie, is launching today. It’s coming direct to on-demand streaming services since we’re all staying home thanks to the current pandemic.
Prices for this rental are significantly higher than your average on-demand rental, which makes complete sense since new releases typically make the rounds in theaters for the first several months. As of this writing, the cost to rent it is $19.99 (plus tax; for me the grand total was $22.07). On the one hand, it sounds high. On the other hand, it’s way cheaper than taking your whole family to the theater.
I’ve already pre-ordered my movie, and since I’m always looking for a deal, I found a way to shave several dollars off the price. In fact, I saved a little over 20%! To do that I bought a discounted electronic gift card for Fandango off of CardCash.com, then ordered my movie through FandangoNOW and used my gift card code. The gift card was delivered immediately to my email, and accepted without a problem by FandangoNOW.
Disclaimer: If you use the discount link below, I may receive a credit. However, your price and savings do not change.
I will warn you that the volume of $20 gift cards isn’t huge so they’re bound to run out. But if you act fast, you can probably shave a few bucks off your Trolls World Tour rental! And if you use this link, apparently you can get a $5 credit off your first order once you create an account. That’s even more savings!
