Two years shy of a decade.
That’s how long my husband has been wanting to switch from our major mobile carrier. And he would have done it long ago if he hadn’t been married to me.
You see, I’m the cautious one. The one who appreciates stability, fears the unknown, and likes to stick with what works. So we did.

In fact, they don’t recommend that you contact your service provider yourself because if you cancel your service, you can lose your phone number altogether. There was no downtime (other than the need to reprogram the phone when the switch officially went through), no loss of data/contacts/photos, and the whole thing was really painless.
Now that I’ve seen how easy and risk-free it is, I feel silly for dragging my feet for so long.
