I moved to NC from Chicago a year ago…had no family or friends here. I never even heard about MOPS until i attended church for the first time here and someone told me about it. I am now on steering team and would be lost without my MOPS group!!! They really are like family and it has really helped a huge amount having them!!! – Julie
Encouragement from other moms has been tremendous for me! Knowing that I am not alone and always have a lot of friends to lean on and laugh with. – Steph
Until I went to MOPS, I had to not been to church in 12 years. We had just moved to a new state and I was new to being a stay at home mom. It was a hard transition to not have any adult interaction. MOPS gave me a place that I felt loved, accepted, and safe. It gave me a way to start letting God back into my life again and I have met some great women along the way. The love and respect that I have gained for myself and for my children has been a wonderful gift and the best part is that I get to experience it now everyday. – Elizabeth
When I first came to a mops group, I was a young mom who just came back to the Lord. The ladies in the group really came around me and encouraged me spiritually and reached out to offer friendship. That was 7 years ago. -Jessica
When we moved to a new city, MOPS was the first place I felt grounded with the Lord in our new location. I have met an awesome group of Christian moms like me. I am also thankful for the child care providers who teach my children stories from the Bible. To sum it up, MOPS has brought and kept the Lord in my family. – Andrea
I was one of those stay at home moms that never got any adult conversation. I loved being with my son but it was driving me crazy never focusing on anything but him. MOPS has given those few days a month I need with adult. Adults who have felt the same way. I have gained friends and so has my son. – Sandra
MOPS has also given me so much more. Before joining MOPS I had been searching for the Lord. Through MOPS I have been able to not only find women with similar beliefs but have found a church I am going to join. MOPS helped with that last little bit I needed. – Anonymous
