At Klesick Farms we take moms seriously. No one cares for the health and safety of their family more than moms. That’s why we are proud to offer healthy, organic and non-GMO produce, free from the kinds of pesticide exposure that non-organic produce has. We believe in the mission of moms to protect their family’s health and safety and in the long term care of the earth that God has created.
We also understand that parenting is a tremendous effort. As a father of nine with active children we do our fair share of shuttling children to activities and runs to the store to provide food on the table. One of our goals at Klesick is to not only make really healthy food options available but to make it really easy. We deliver right to your door!
We also want to make this nourishing food attainable to everyone and so we check our prices to ensure that we are the same or often times less than buying organic at the store. With the difference being that our produce is non-GMO and in the case of our locally grown produce often times fresher.
For us farming and family life are uniquely intertwined. How precious is the seed of life that only a mom gets the privilege to understand? In farming, seeds travel a similar journey from planting, to growing beneath the soil, to emergence. As a farmer, I am always waiting for the day the seeds appear, yes there are tell-tale signs, but oh the excitement when the seeds actually emerge!
As a father, I have been through this season with my wife many times and every time it is exciting—the anticipation of waiting for our new precious little one to come. They do come and they do grow up.
We guide these “little plants” through thorns and thistles, stress and droughts, warm weather and gentle showers, always believing, hoping and eager for their future to unfold like May blooms on a lilac tree. Though fully knowing that there will bumps in the road, we continue to believe, and hope and pray with unbending devotion and unfailing love.
For all you mothers, thank you for your sacrifice, your service and your love. Our community, our nation and our world is a better place because you have chosen motherhood.
