I think we can all agree that eating healthy, nutritious meals is important. Eating healthy reduces the risk of all sorts of illnesses, boosts our immune systems and increases our daily energy! Bottom line, as moms we need to take care of ourselves because we need all the energy we can get for the kids we are raising and the lives we are leading.
Here is how Maven Meals is helping me be a healthier, better mom.
Yesterday was an exceedingly busy day. Both our kids were in school, which meant we had to get up early, get the temperature check thing in by a certain time, get out of the house by a certain time, and then get back to the house for meeting after meeting. By 1:45p as I was leaving the house to get ready to pick the kids up from school, I realized I hadn’t eaten lunch and I was starving.
Maven Meals saved the day. I grabbed my Chopped Salad with Sweet Potato, Apple & Quinoa and off I went to get the kids. While I was waiting in the school pickup line, I was able to enjoy a delicious, nutritious salad and refresh my energy for when the kids got in the car. The best part of this story is that after this I was such a better mom. I wasn’t grumbling because I was hangry or just nibbled on crackers and random things all day, I actually felt full, satisfied and ready to tackle working from home and being a mom again.

Daily Salads!
My favorite so far has been the Sweet Potato, Apple & Quinoa Salad – SO GOOD. Although, as I said above, I have been getting salads for my husband and I for lunches and they have all been a game changer.
Healthy Snacks!
Mighty Maven Bars are the perfect snack to have around. Full of protein, I love the nuts and the raw honey and they are awesome to have for that afternoon boost. I order 4-6 every week! We usually get the mini ones and they have been a great size for that afternoon slump!
A little sweet treat!
Try any and all of the cookie doughs! So far I have tried Chocolate Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate Chunk and Molasses Ginger. Oh my goodness my kids think I’m the best because I make them fresh-baked cookies after school. Mom of the year. My son asked me last night, “Mom, how did you make these so good?” Maven Meals will make you look good!
