We’re having a discussion about Compassion Kids, the offering that Emerson’s Sunday school class collects for.
E: ‘I want to give my tunnels and my fire truck house to the Compassion Kids.’
Me: ‘Well, they don’t need that kind of stuff, honey. They need food and clean water and things like that.’
E: ‘And parents?’
Me: ‘Yeah, honey. Some of them need parents too.’
E: (thinks for a minute) ‘Then….I think I’ll give you and Daddy away!’
We can’t help but laugh with our children. Let’s all take a moment to enjoy their sweet, joyous hearts.
What are mom stories? Mom stories are a little glimpse into the world of mothers around us. Every day brave mothers are doing astounding things and we want to recognize them. We hope you find inspiration through these stories. Do you have a mom you’d like to submit for a mom story? Send us an e-mail with a brief story (200-500 words) and a picture of the mom to comments@allmomdoes.com.
