Being a working mom, I have to have efficiency in my life. I typically don’t have any extra hours in my day in order to possibly do this or that. I have to schedule things and if something runs over, it means that something else might not get done. Today, the 45 minute window I had planned for my exercise time after work got bumped out because I ended up getting stuck in a meeting longer than anticipated. Instead, I went straight to take my daughter to her 9 month check up, then home to play with the kids for a bit before running back out to a dinner commitment I had made weeks ago. I made it home to put my son to bed, kissed my daughter good night as she was already sleeping in her crib and then made my way downstairs. I sat on the couch and then thought, some exercise is better than none, right?
So, here is what I took 4 minutes to do:
1 minute- as many crunches as I could
1 minute- as many pushups as I could
1 minute- as many squats as I could
1 minute- again as many crunches as I could
Will this go on record as a killer workout? No. But am I gonna wake up feeling a bit better that I at least did something? Yes!
This Monday, I will be starting a 30 day challenge. A totally doable, equipment free, can do from home 30 day challenge!
Just a couple moves each day.
