It seems like online shopping has been a coping mechanism for many during this current pandemic. I decided to do a “round up” of purchases my friends and I have made. Large to small and a couple that were clearly bought after one too many mimosas.
- Delcroix Underwear– If you love the look and feel of pricey underwear like the Hanky Panky brand from Nordstrom but find the price a bit ridiculous, you might love this find! You can get a 10-pack for $17.99!
- Under Appliance Duster– I have professed my love of cleaning before and this is one of my favorite new items because it can fit under or between anything for easy cleaning.
- XBox- Ok I know this is a spendy one but hear me out. The entire time during stay at home orders due to Coronavirus, my son has been able to talk and play with his friends. Virtually, yes; but it has been so wonderful hearing him having fun, laughing and feeling some normal during this time. I don’t know how it works, but they even put their headsets on and watch movies together and can talk to each other during it. If you have been thinking about this purchase, I strongly recommend it!
- Graphic Tees– You cannot go onto social media lately without an ad popping up for some sort of lounge wear. All my friends and I have been suckered into purchasing but we are 100% happy customers. Some of my favorite tees include sayings like “I’m not for everyone” and “2020 sucks”. This is one purchase I did after a couple of cocktails out on the deck.
- Tumbler– Similar to the graphic tees, I feel like tumblers are being advertised everywhere. Another post cocktail purchase but I sure was happy when it arrived. A huge variety out there with funny or inspirational sayings/quotes. This one also makes for a great gift.
- Refrigerator Can Organizer-This was a purchase I made out of sheer boredom one day when I was once again organizing things.
- Beyond Yoga Pants- Two of my friends each voted this as their favorite recent purchase. I love the brand Zella but they claim the Beyond Yoga are the softest best yoga pants they have ever worn. I might have to give them a try!
- Fake Broccoli– I have fake lemons in my entry way to brighten it up a bit. But when my friend said she recently bought fake broccoli for her kitchen she left us all laughing. Maybe this one was purchased after a few mimosas?
- Peloton Exercise Bike– I don’t have one and this is clearly a really spendy item. However, I hear nothing but rave reviews from those I know who have made the purchase. With many gyms still closed, this brings the fitness classes to you.
- Devotional journals/Daily Inspirations- You can sign up for daily inspirations/devotionals or you can also purchase a journal to be able to write in. Particularly in times like these when we are all going through such extra stress, this can be a great way to calm and reset.
- Tie Dye Kit– This one seemed kind of random to me but a couple of my friends said it made for hours of entertainment for their kids. I saw some finished products and it was actually pretty cute.
- Lens Cleaning Cloths- From cleaning my phone screen to the safety glasses I wear for work sometimes, these individually packed clothes make it a breeze.
What have some of your favorite purchases been lately?
