Grab and go snacks that aren’t chips or goldfish crackers are a must in my house with two busy middle-schoolers. I typically make these peanut butter balls once a week. I like that the kids are getting some protein as they eat these on busy days from one activity to another.
You’ll need:
- Old Fashioned Oats: 3 cups
- Honey: ½ cup
- Peanut Butter : 1 cup
- Chia Seeds or Flax Seed (optional): 1 Tbsp
- Chocolate chips (optional): 1/3 cup
- Measuring tools
- Mixing Bowl
- Spoon/Spatula
- Storage container
Easy steps:
Mix all ingredients together in one bowl
Roll into bite-sized balls
Place into storage container and into the fridge
Wait about 45 minutes before they are ready to eat
Store in the fridge, good for about a week.
