My 13-year-old son came home from a birthday party the other day raving about the chocolate dessert his friend’s mom had made. I texted her asking for the recipe. Her response was perfect for someone like me who prefers simple recipes. Her text back to me: “It’s not really a recipe, it’s basically just stirring.”
Count me in.
Even better, we happened to have the ingredients needed so I copy and pasted her text and sent it to my son. He made it that evening and it was so delicious, I knew I had to share.
Here is all you need:
- Hot chocolate mix: 3 packets (we used swiss miss milk chocolate)
- Cool Whip: We used a whole container but you could use half and then just half the hot chocolate mix too
- Mini Marshmallows: A handful or so
Directions:
- Stir really well
Optional Add-Ins:
- Mini chocolate chips
- crushed up candy canes
- or really anything else that sounds like it would be good!
For Dipping:
We had Nilla wafers and graham crackers so we used those to dip into the mix
You could dip pretty much anything into it. Or just eat it by the spoonful.
Pretty much the simplest dessert “recipe” ever.
Enjoy!
