It might not be acting like it right now, but we know the Spring weather is just around the corner. You might as well get ready for it by scoping out your favorite picnic spots so you are ready for a day out and about.
First, gather your picnic supplies:
- Picnic basket. There are some super cute picnic baskets on Amazon or load up your goodies in a to go bag. I prefer the basket so less squishing happens. 🙂
- Picnic Blanket. Tons of picnic blanket options available, though we prefer the kind that is waterproof on one side. You might be able to snag a deal at Goodwill or Value Village too!
- Picnic Goodies. No picnic is complete without peanut butter & jelly, cookies, water and some fruit. Budget a little to get a snack while you are out and about too. Maybe ice cream??
Don’t forget a few toys, sunglasses, sun hats, sunscreen and to remind your kids to use the bathroom before you leave the house!
Tip: I keep all my picnic stuff in one spot so that when it is picnic time I can just grab it and go, especially if we are just feeling extra adventurous and plan a spur of the moment picnic outing.
