Mom, I’m sorry to tell you, but you’re out of luck. There is no way you’re going to do this parenting thing perfectly. Because no matter what you do, you’re doing it wrong. There will always be people on the other side of the fence who disagree with your choices. And it will sting, because this mothering thing is heavy.
Every decision you make, you make with every fiber of your being because you want to do the right thing.
And for every decision you make, there are others who will vehemently disagree with you. Because their motherhood is heavy, too.
And so, we’ve compiled a list of all the things moms are shamed for. Not because we want to shame you, but to show you how incredibly ridiculous this whole shaming culture is. At the end of the day, you do you. Nobody has raised your child in your family before, and you were chosen to be the perfect parent for them. You’re doing just fine!
