Finances are deeply personal, but that doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from the wisdom, experience, and research of others. There are a LOT of money-saving bloggers out there on the internet, but don’t get overwhelmed. We’ve found six that you should REALLY check out yourself!
1. The Coupon Project has a little bit of everything for you – deals, coupons, money-saving advice, recipes, DIY tips that will save you money, and even a guide to get started so you don’t get overwhelmed! Even better, she’s local so if you’re from the Seattle-Tacoma area you’ll get the scoop on local deals, too!
2. Money Saving Mom has a whole lot of personal finance and business advice sprinkled with real, relatable lifestyle blogging. Money Saving Mom is well-known for posting a lot of deals, but if you’re less of a deal/coupon-er and more of a money-saving tip person you can click “skip the deals” in the upper right-hand corner and just get the content you want!
3. The Frugal Girl is a relatable, personal frugal lifestyle blog by a stay-at-home homeschooling mama of four who saves money in ways nearly everyone can emulate. She’s got recipes, tutorials, and money-saving tips, but also writes about themes like contentment, which plays a huge part in making sound financial decisions.
4. Dave Ramsey has many books and products centered around how to achieve financial freedom, starting with the seven baby steps. However, you can find a whole lot of his advice for FREE on his company’s blog and website. This is a great place to start if you’re struggling with money management.
5. The Non-Consumer Advocate is a lifestyle blog by Katie, whose motto is “Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, or Do without.” Long story short, she doesn’t buy anything new. Sometimes it’s inspiring to see how others make frugal-living work for them, and you can glean tips – and encouragement – from following along with their stories!
6. Living Well Spending Less is all about life lived well – on a budget! Ruth covers a whole lot of topics, but don’t worry – her site is clean and well-organized, so I’m sure you’ll be able to find help with whatever topic you’re looking for.
