We, as parents, should be the first to know what our kids are doing. However, I’m fairly certain that the majority of us feel incredibly overwhelmed with the amount of social media options there are and how to stay up to date on them. We are excited to tell you about a new training series from “Let’s Talk Teens.” that will help you understand what your kids are up to on their devices, how to help them be safe and how to educate them on being safe and kind in the Internet world. Don’ fall into the trap that, “My child is a good kid. He/she wouldn’t do anything.” It is essential that you know what your child is up to. They will thank you you for it.
“Let’s Talk Teens” sent us their training course “Social Media and Cyber Safety for Our Kids” to preview before we wrote this review. And, we must say, we are so excited to tell you about this content. (Disclosure: we use an affiliate link which means AllMomDoes will be compensated for a portion of sales)
Kacee Bree Jensen is the creator of this training session and founder of Let’s Talk Teens which helps in raising teens in the modern world. Keep this website handy to access to the journal of information that will help you walk your teens through so many hot topics!
Do you know how your kid uses their device? From social media to online gaming and everything else our teens have at their fingertips, knowing what they’re exposed to might surprise you. In this workshop, trainer Kacee breaks down the different apps out there and how to keep our kids safe from trolls, cyberbullying, FOMO, hashtags and cyber stranger danger. Instead of throwing in the towel, learn to navigate the cyber world our teens are living in.
Social media isn’t going away. Moms, we need to get in there. Push past the fear, the feelings that you don’t want to, the overwhelming options, and go where your kids are. We are parents and it is our job. It’s not easy but it is so good.
