We had a few warm, sunny days and didn’t they feel good? We all rushed outside thinking that “spring had sprung” and we thought we could count on more of the same. And, then the rains returned and we realized that we’re not quite out of winter yet. And, speaking for the people in my life, everyone was a little crabby about that!
So, if you’re stuck inside with cranky kids, I thought I’d gather some easy and fun crafts to do to at least celebrate spring inside. It’s always fun for us to share blogs from other moms too because we’re all about moms supporting moms. Here’s what we found:
From Easy Peasy and Fun, comes this cute pom-pom caterpillar craft:
How cute are these chick puppets?! It would be fun to skip the puppet part and turn them into a garland. Just punch a hole at the top and run a ribbon through:
I am all for anything that promotes snail mail. These cards would be perfect to send to relatives and friends. Older kids can cut out the pieces themselves and younger kids can decorate the insides of the cards:
A craft you can eat? Count me in. Rice Krispie treat nests look yummy:
Someone seriously needs to make me this raindrop sun catcher. I love it. And, we might as well embrace our rainy weather:
We’ve all seen a version of a cherry tree craft, but how perfect to use your child’s hand cut-out as the trunk! You could also use finger prints for the blossoms:
This craft uses an old CD for the ladybug body, but you could just cut a circle out of black paper:
Bonus! You get 15 craft ideas at once! Just make sure you have some paper plates:
Again, will someone make these for me? How cool are these Q-tip dandelion flowers? I want a whole vase full:
And, I love these cute mushroom crafts:
Whichever craft you choose, I hope you have fun. And, send us some pictures of your finished projects!
