It’s that time of year, folks! Fall is here!
It’s obvious that many of us have a total love for all things of the season. Changing leaves, cozy sweaters, fluffy scarves, and let’s not forget…pumpkin spice!
And for many families, we love a good pumpkin patch to go explore with our families. It’s a fun day for everyone.
So here is our compilation of pumpkin patches for all of you in the greater Vancouver area. Peruse the list to find one close to you and that has what you are looking for!
1) Applebarn at Taves Family Farm-Abbotsford
Located in Abbotsford, this farm offers many family fun activities like hay rides, pony rides, tire swings, bouncing pillow, and animals as well as pumpkin and apple picking!
So many adventures await at this farm! Aside from the norms of a typical pumpkin patch, this place has a zipline, a fortress playground, giant slides, and a pedal go-kart track! How fun is that?
3) Chilliwack Corn Maze and Pumpkin Farm-Chilliwack
Another awesome spot! This place has all the basics of a pumpkin patch, but with a climbing spider web, duck races, indoor hay-bale maze, a corn train, and so much more! Check it out!
4) Petey’s Pumpkin Patch-Chilliwack
Check this awesome patch out, not only for train and wagon rides out to the pumpkin patch or for fun in their family fun zone, but also because they are now offering Southern style barbecue, including ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and more! Wonderful fun and delicious food!
5) Westham Island Herb Farm-Delta
A fun little patch with a cool display, check out this farm that has lit-up jack-o-lanterns every evening for the last 10 days of October!
6) Laity Pumpkin Patch-Maple Ridge
This pumpkin patch now has two locations, just across the street from one another! Their north location is recommended for ages 6 and under, and their south location is recommended for ages 6 and older! All kinds of fun activities await, such as obstacle courses, different kinds of mazes, farm animals, and of course… pumpkins!
7) Port Kells Nurseries-Surrey
This patch offers all kinds of fun activities that you would hope to find, but for free! The only costs are for pumpkins, concessions, nursery products, and if you want unlimited hayrides for the day ($5 each). How awesome!
A real farm! This place is unique in the sense that you can go to get a pumpkin and pitch in at the farm! Pumpkins are locally grown but harvested and placed around the orchard. Admission is by donation and pumpkins are $5 each.
Simple and sweet! Come get a pumpkin, visit some farm animals, and see what’s happening on the farm! If you want to see an awesome working farm, this is a great place to go!
10) Richmond Country Farms-Richmond
This farm offers live music, wagon rides, an animal farm, and after you’re done getting your pumpkin, they give you a Spartan apple to enjoy! Costumed entertainers as well to delight your little ones. What a fun place to get your pumpkin!
