Welcome to 2018, everyone!
As we step into the new year and put away the things of Christmas, it is easy to feel a sort of let-down after all that activity, excitement, and wonder. We spend a season of our year entirely focused on Jesus and His first coming, but then in the span of a few days, it all fades away. Talk about depressing.
But as we all know, God wants to be in every season of our lives, not just Christmas. So as we continue in 2018, let’s make a commitment to continue pursuing Him!
In the spirit of that, I have assembled ten verses that speak about newness, hope, and encouragement. My hope for you is that these verses wouldn’t just sit here on this page, but that they would inspire you to grab your own bible and look for more encouragement and life within its pages. There is so much there to be found!
May these encourage you in the new year, and remind you of all the potential God has to make your life new, over and over again.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. -2 Corinthians 5:17

…but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. -Isaiah 40:31
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. -Ecclesiastes 3:11
Here is to a wonderful 2018, filled with His goodness and love!
