These quick, simple, and delicious treats are perfect for the kids at your Thanksgiving get-together! Use waffle cones to create adorable, mini cornucopias filled with whatever snacks or desserts your kiddos enjoy. They come in especially handy for those who aren’t huge pie fans and are also pretty easy for little ones to carry around when they have reached their limit sitting at the table. I hope they add some extra fun to your celebration this year!
What you’ll need:
- Wax paper
- Waffle cones
- Melting chocolate (Ghirardelli Chocolate Wafers are my favorite!)
- Sprinkles(optional)
- Chex mix, popcorn, cheese crackers, cereal, M&M’s, candy corn, Muddy Buddies, or any other snack food and desserts you like!
- Treat bags (with twisty tie or ribbon)
Directions:
Place wax paper on a large cookie sheet, set aside.
Melt the chocolate according to the directions.
Dip the cones into the melted chocolate and then into a bowl of sprinkles if desired.
Gently set the cone on the prepared cookie sheet and repeat with the remaining cones.
Set them in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to set.
Fill with treats and snacks.
Wrap them in saran wrap or treat bags and store upright at room temperature until ready to enjoy!
