I’m still coming to the reality that summer is over…so wrapping my head around Halloween has been challenging. My kids are 1 and 4 which means I have one kid that will dress as whatever I put on her and one kid that is very opinionated about every detail of his costume. I’ll be sure to post the final costumes but at this point it’s looking like I will have one ladybug and one Mr. Fredrickson…yes, you read that right, the old man from the movie Up.
Since my kids are little and I am far from a crafty mom, easy and non-messy are key for me when I put together fun family activities. So, here we go…an EASY craft/treat (yes, a two for one. I’m efficient too). Shout out to my MIL for introducing me to this idea.
You will need TWO things:
1. Large marshmallows
2. Tube of gel frosting.
Here’s what you do:
1. Take the marshmallows out of the bag
2. Open the frosting
3. Use frosting to put 2 eyeballs on each marshmallow
DONE! THAT’S IT! How fun is that? And, the kids love it and have a blast. You are very welcome.
What fun costumes are coming out of your house this year? Have a safe and happy Halloween!
