Ann has been given the opportunity to try Edmonds Ideal Weightloss in exchange for the opportunity to review it honestly. All opinions are her own.
I took a learning styles test once and my results were: “random/abstract”. My husband actually laughed out loud because that describes me perfectly.
I might start emptying the dishwasher, get distracted and reorganize the silverware drawer, get distracted again and start a Goodwill box (with things I found in the silverware drawer) and somehow end up in the bedroom closet sorting clothes(while the dishwasher remains open and full).
I also can’t follow a recipe. I have to put my own spin on it. Whenever my family eats something that I’ve made, they always say, “Enjoy it now everybody because you will never get this exact same thing again!”
Very funny. But, true. I need creativity and freedom. It’s who I am.
My last diet center gave me the freedom to eat anything I wanted. It seemed a perfect match for my personality. Except, I wasn’t losing any weight.
Ideal Protein is completely different. So much research has gone into this program and it is set up so that if you follow it exactly you will lose weight.
That’s pretty great, right? Everything already figured out for you so you can just relax and lose weight?
Except that my creative nature freaked out a bit. And, I cheated. They didn’t feel like cheats, I was just doing my usual creative cooking. I added a few nuts to the pudding. I decided hummus and parsnip chips were a great idea. And, even though all my ideas were “healthy” by nature, I gained a pound instead of losing any weight that week.
The doctor who developed Ideal Protein dedicated his life to the study of obesity. It was only through years of research that he created what he considered to be the perfect method for not only losing weight, but losing the fat that we store in our bodies (plus, giving our poor overworked pancreas a break).
So, I started over. And, once I actually followed the diet completely, amazing things began happening. Weight began coming off every week, my cravings disappeared and my food tastes changed.
I found that even a creative mind can flourish on the plan. Because, once you have the basic rules down, there are countless IP foods to choose from, plus a long list of approved veggies and proteins. As long as I stick to the plan, I can still create my own (unrepeated) recipes!
But, most surprisingly, I started creating routines for myself when I didn’t have to. Although there are numerous snack ideas, I have a chocolate pudding every evening. I love it and it satisfies me. I have maple oatmeal almost every morning. It’s warm, easy to make and yummy.
So, no matter what your personality traits are, give Ideal Protein at Edmonds Ideal Weightloss a try. I think you’ll be surprised at your success.
