The price of meat and, well, groceries in general can be troubling as we head into a heavy food holiday. We are doing our best to keep you informed of our favorite ways to save money and get free turkey this year! Here is what we found so far. Feel free to add to our list.
1,500 Free Turkeys from Eastridge Church in Issaquah
Saturday, November 19th, Eastridge Church is giving away 1,500 free Thanksgiving turkeys and bags of groceries to families in need. It starts at 9am at their two locations in Issaquah and Seattle. It is first-come, first-served. You don’t need to demonstrate your need.
Fred Meyer – FREE Turkey with $150 Spend
Fred Meyer has their normal Free turkey with a $150 spend happening right now. Make sure you download their app as it’s a great way to save money. I am an online only grocery shopper so I always scroll through the coupons first and a quick glance at the ad and then begin my order!
Safeway – FREE Turkey with $150 Spend
Safeway is giving away free turkeys with a $150 spend. You do need to use Safeway’s reward program and download the digital coupon. It applies to the Honeysuckle-brand turkeys.
Ibotta – Rebate on Grocery Essentials
Find out more about Ibotta can help you save on grocery essentials. While it wouldn’t be immediate savings, it will help you with a rebate in the end.
If you sign up currently for their text group you can get $100 to spend plus a free Thanksgiving turkey. I have not personally used them before but have heard good things.
Albertsons – FREE Turkey with $100 Spend
Albertsons is also following the crowd with their turkey giveaway with a $100 purchase in a single transaction. Check out their app or ads for the details.
Winco – FREE Turkey with $125 Spend
See your local store for details on this one, but Winco has a free turkey with a $125 spend in a single transaction.
