On the 20th anniversary of 9/11 I am thinking about that day and all the people impacted. I was in college. I remember my roommate woke me up and said, “We are under attack.”
Me: “What? No, we aren’t.”
Her: “Yes, they think it is terrorists.”
Me: “No, it isn’t. It’s a mistake.”
But it wasn’t.
I remember walking through that day dazed and confused. Classes cancelled. We were all glued to the TV screen. Watching. Wondering what it meant and how to move forward.
In the midst of that day 20 years ago, where was Jesus?
